Survivors 5Her eyes shot open she couldnt remember where she was until the thought of her mother rushed it back to her. She looked around and sighed; she noticed there was a pool of blood under her she looked and her cuts and gashes they were gone. She knew it would be hard to stand up but she got up with ease. Mai stepped into her blood but it wouldnt soak in her fur at all, ''Weird!.''
The lions were gone none in sight. Cautiusly but quietly she wandered the cold dark corridors of the labrinth. Finally she reached the back cave it was deep and to dark to see she waited by the entrance to the chamber; and turned around. ''Sniff.'' She smelt an unpleasant odoor. Mai turned around ''BOOM!''
A male lion grabbed ahold of her spine and crunched on it as if it were a chew toy. He carried her through the tunnels all the way out her cave and released her from his grip. Blood collected on the floor she looked at the damage but.............. No blood seaped through the wounds.
Suddenly a flash of light, a

Thoughts of what was going to happen was all thats flowed in her mind. All she wanted is to be set down and be relived of the feeling of teeth in her back.
Finally on the horizon was a cave like hideout up on the mountain of rocks. They started walking up a pile of rocks every step and jump up was another shot of pain in her back. Finally they reached the top and inside they went.
There where various tunnels string from the mouth of the cave. They walked through the center tunnel to what looked like the main cave. He brought Mai to the Nearest tunnel to the left and walked to the end and swung her at the back wall of the cave.

Mai forced all her energy to her arms and crawled all the way back to the rock wedged in the ground. Mai slid around and noticed a trail of blood tracing right to her very locating. But she was too exausted to move and moved as far back as her body would let her and quietly waited and hoped for the best.
Dark shadows krept by the rock and as she predicted lions and two males to be exact. One sniffed to blood and followed it right to the entrance where she slid under. Fright shot up her spine as she lay curled up in a ball. Suddenly the male caught eye of her and roared and started digging; an unusal thing for lions to do but then the other one joined in and sure enough she was in paws reach. They started swipping at her she didnt dare escape out the sides. Then one le
Poetic PsychosisIn thirty seconds, the next shell would fall. Every night was the same, but every night Lorenzo experienced it as if it were the first time. His throat felt swollen; breathing was hard. He glanced around at the others; young men like him who had been shipped out in the name of honour and freedom. There was no honour in this, no freedom. Only death behind your eyelids, and a fear so gutting, that it carved out your innards and left you a hollow husk. Lorenzo tried to breathe, tried to assure himself that he was still whole, still made of flesh. They had lied when they told him he was ready.
Matteo ran towards him, arms out, rifle swinging uselessly at his side. He shouted for him to run, but Lorenzo remained motionless, unable to move as his friend’s warning was lost in the constant blare of gunfire. None of them were ready.
“The cycle is repeating. It is not safe.” The voice was soft and weak, yet it carried over the gunfire and battle cries without impediment.
